Sunday Funday With Jill’s Summer Beer!

Pour yourself a cold one.

It’s been over 100 degrees here for days on end.  My air conditioner is broken.  No one can come for days.  What’s a girl to do?  Do what she already planned to do… Sunday Funday drinks and Tukten’s Fish Tacos with Andy!

Thanks to one of my co-workers, I have a few new summer drinks to try.  I named this one Jill’s Summer Beer.  I did make one modification – the addition of lime sherbet.  I never knew how good it was…until now.  Frankly, it makes any cold cocktail better.  Do yourself a favor, make Jill’s Summer Beer and enjoy the hot weather!

Ingredients:

- 12 oz. Limeade

- 8 oz. Vodka

- 4 Light Coronas

- 3 limes sliced

- 4 lemons sliced

- lime sherbet (one dollop per serving)

Directions:

Get a large pitcher or punch bowl and combine! Serve with ice and a dollop of lime sherbet on top of each serving!

Refreshing!

About zinnrunner

I am a lawyer, long distance runner and a yogi. I created this blog to chronicle my marathon training. I never made it past 2 entries. I think a lot about writing when it comes to training. I am not sure why those thoughts never get to this blog. But, I do spend a lot of time writing about and photographing food. So, I will use this blog to share food and maybe, just maybe, my training gets a little airtime too!
