A Departure From All Things Funner (Food + Running), Honor Your Mother
If you don’t read Momastery, you are truly missing out. Momastery is authored by Glennon Melton; an honesty writer. To learn more about Glennon and her blog, click here.
I realize this post has nothing to do with the Funner things in life (see above definition of “Funner”), but it’s my blog and I’ll do what I want to!
THE MEAT OF THIS POST:
Every now and again, Glennon, through her readers (aka Monkees – learn more here) raise money and hope for those in need. Currently, Glennon and the Monkees are raising money to help two very deserving mothers. Reading about these two women will remind of your own blessings. We have so much to be grateful and thankful for in this life. With Mother’s Day approaching, one MAJOR blessing that comes to mind is my own mother. I am so blessed to have the mom that I do. I know you feel the same way. So honor your Mom or your Mom’s memory by reading what Glennon has to say about these two women and their families. When you are done – give $5, $10, or $20 to this worthy cause. But, you can’t do more than $25 – that’s the rule. AND, pass this on.

(Visitors: What we have here is a LOVE FLASH MOB. It is a celebration of LIFE and LOVE and HOPE that we Monkees hold once in a blue moon. We come together here to support a Sister, a Sister who might need a reminder that She is Loved and Watched Over. In short – We Make Magic Happen, Baby. We do it by showing up, giving what we can (up to a $25 maximum), and trusting that the money raised is the least of the miracles that result. Join us, EVERYONE IS INVITED!)

UPDATE: I’ve already had a few questions about Momastery. Namely – “What posts should I read?” Here are two of my faves to get you started:
